The Chanel Métiers d’Art 2025/2026 event in New York is one of the most highly anticipated fashion rendezvous of the year, carrying a message of connection between France’s exquisite artisanal heritage and the vibrant, ever-creative rhythm of the United States. Creative Director Matthieu Blazy seeks a contemporary pulse for the Maison’s handcrafted designs at the 168 Bowery subway station, creating what he describes as “a love song between Paris and New York.” Here, the guests themselves command attention, dressed in unmistakably Chanel creations, as they collectively step into a modern fairytale in the “city that never sleeps,” New York.

G-Dragon, a global fashion icon and Chanel brand ambassador, is invariably the most anticipated presence. He appeared in a dark-toned ensemble rich in detail, perfectly expressing a unisex spirit and his signature sense of playful sophistication. He wore a cropped jacket with a classic silhouette from Look 26 of the Chanel Spring–Summer 2026 collection, distinguished by a row of white pearl buttons set against black fabric.
